Monica Rohleder
Monica is a woman with a passion: to connect people and their stories in a way that provokes real and honest action. And as one of the partners and founders of Signal Rock Communications, she is putting that passion to work for our clients each and every day. A media guru who specializes in product promotion, brand visibility, thought leadership and special events, Monica oversees campaigns for a wide variety of consumer and consumer- technology companies. She also helps focus our agency’s business strategy and drive business development efforts while promoting our client’s and our own achievements.
With over 10 years in the marketing and communications industry, Monica has worked in all facets of the profession including advertising, sponsorship and sports marketing and customer/partner relations. Before creating Signal Rock, Monica built her own agency – Rohlan PR – where she supported start-ups and business veterans with media relations, promotions and publicity solutions that increased attention and sales. Prior to that, Monica led Motorola Mobile Device’s North American PR group – helping the company find it’s consumer voice again through the launch of the MOTO brand and game-changing devices like the RAZR.
A graduate of Purdue University and loyal Boilermaker fan, Monica continues to support her alma mater and its next-generation of communications leaders through her work on the alumni board. She also continues connecting with people and their stories in her spare time, whether it be through her love of travel, enjoying a new hobby like golf or a simple walk on the beach with her dog Coco.
